The year that we are bringing Dork Dancing to Denver, CO, to inspire the rest of the country to Dork Dance!

  1. Ethan’s part time work is the largest unaccounted expense. Ethan is now working a full time job to afford living in Denver. As Dork Dancing gains demand, it is becoming increasingly difficult for Ethan to adequately meet the needs of Dork Dancing as he continues to contribute to this after work hours.

  2. The Vietnamese volunteer team is the second largest expense. The Vietnamese volunteer team is necessary to maintain and grow the momentum that was started in Da Nang, Vietnam. Without any kind of payment, the structure and consistency required to keep Dork Dancing going would not be possible. The volunteer team consists of four who are doing incredible community organizing work. Their payment is a very small token of appreciation considering the amount of work they do.

  3. Equipment expenses continue to grow. The cost of doing business is much higher in the US than in Vietnam. The biggest expense here is speakers, with print marketing (banners, flags, business cards, etc.) following next. All the little things add up, especially as our volunteer team grows (they need to each be supplied with the proper equipment).

  4. Cost of Goods is a new larger expense, this expense is exciting in a way that other expenses aren’t because it is a category of expense that may directly lead to revenue. Hopefully we can sell some Dork shirts to fundraise!
